These guides are some of the most comprehensive guides available anywhere. Select the appropriate guide for your computer setup. For example, if you have a Macintosh, you would want to select one of the Macintosh guides below. If you have a question, or wish to know more about Windows 95/98 Dial-up Networking (dialing into NCKCN), select the "Dial-up Networking Guide.


Windows 7/Vista Windows Live Mail Guide - This guide is designed to help you set up Windows Live Mail for Windows 7/Vista to connect to your NCKCN POP3 Email.
Windows XP Guide - This guide is for  Windows XP. Microsoft Windows XP has native support for a TCP/IP Internet connection and the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer is already available with this version of Microsoft Windows. You will not install any software from the NCKCN CD-ROM for this guide. This guide takes you step-by-step how to configure your Windows XP computer to connect to your NCKCN Network.
Windows 2000 IE 5.x Guide - This guide is for  Windows 2000. Microsoft Windows 2000 has native support for a TCP/IP Internet connection and the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer is already available with this version of Microsoft Windows. You will not install any software from the NCKCN CD-ROM for this guide. This guide takes you step-by-step how to configure your Windows 2000 computer to connect to your NCKCN Network.
Windows ME Guide - This guide is for  Windows ME. Microsoft Windows ME has native support for a TCP/IP Internet connection and the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer is already available with this version of Microsoft Windows. You will not install any software from the NCKCN CD-ROM for this guide. This guide takes you step-by-step how to configure your Windows ME computer to connect to your NCKCN Network.
Windows 98 Second Edition IE 5.0 Guide - This guide is for the second version of Windows 98, called the Second Edition. Windows 98 Second Edition has native support for a TCP/IP Internet connection and the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer is already available with Second Edition. You will not install any software from the NCKCN CD-ROM for this guide. The first part of this guide instructs you how to tell which version of Windows 98 you have installed.
Windows 98 Guide - This guide is for the first version of Windows 98, which has native support for a TCP/IP Internet connection. You will not install any software from the NCKCN CD-ROM for this guide. The first part of this guide instructs you how to tell which version of Windows 98 you have installed.  
Windows 95 Guide - This guide is for a generic (default)  Windows 95 native TCP/IP Internet connection. You will not install any software from the NCKCN CD-ROM for this guide. All Windows Operating Systems above Windows 95 have the capability to connect to the Internet without any additional software.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 Windows 95 CD-ROM - This older guide is for any member with a PC computer with Windows 95 and very limited RAM and a 486 CPU. Members are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible and upgrade to at least Internet Explorer 4.01.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 Guide - This guide is for Windows 95 members with computers from 486 CPU and up. This guide takes you through the steps of installing Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 from the NCKCN CD-ROM. The CD-ROM installation is simply an upgrade from the native Windows 95 Internet software or used to upgrade any previous version of Internet Explorer. This guide is not for Windows 98 members.
Microsoft  Internet Explorer 5.0 Upgrade Guides - These guide steps you through upgrading any pervious version of Microsoft Internet Explorer to the version 5.0.  These guides are for Windows 95 computers and Windows 98. You will install software from the NCKCN CD-ROM for these guides. These guides are not for Windows 98 Second Edition. We recommend Internet Explorer 5.0 only to members with a Pentium class computer with 32MB of RAM.
Windows 95/98 Dial-up Networking Guide - This guide is designed to give you some pointers and troubleshooting tips on the Windows 95/98 Dial-up Networking (DUN), which is what you use to connect to NCKCN.
Microsoft Outlook Express 5 Guide. - This guide takes you through the steps to set up or edit your email software.
Macintosh OS X Guide - This guide is for members with the latest OS for Macs.
Macintosh Guide - This older guide is for members with older Macs with limited power. Members are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible. This guide is somewhat obsolete, but is presented for your convenience.
Macintosh CD-ROM Guide - This guide takes you through the steps of install Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.01 from the NCKCN CD-ROM.
Mac PPP Connection Guide - This older guide is designed to give you some pointers and troubleshooting tips on the Mac PPP or MacTCP, which is what older Mac users can use to connect to NCKCN.
 
Configuring Eudora for NCKCN - This guide is for users who wish to use Qualcomms Eudora Lite to connect to their NCKCN Email Account.
