The
Rainbow Tavern
Located in downtown Beloit. One of the best sandwich shops in the region, with specials every day. Food is good, although the atmosphere is that of a "clean" bar. Dress is whatever you have on at the moment. You may be eating next to a person in a suit or chaps, it makes no difference. All of Beloit's best eat here. LunchBucket
Express
Located on the northwest corner of Hwy 24 & Hwy 14 junction. The LunchBucket is primarily a carry out sandwich shop featuring a variety of hot and cold sandwiches (although you may choose to dine in). The bread is absolutely delightful and they certainly do not skimp on the meat and toppings. You have your choice of either hogie buns or kaiser rolls as well as different cheeses and toppings. A bag of chips comes with the sandwich. Chef, garden and taco salads are also available. If you call in an order, it will be ready and waiting for you. You won't be disappointed.

Wranglers
Located on the northwest corner of Hwy 24 & Hwy 14 junction. This restaurant offers a noon buffet with two choices of meat, pototoes, gravy, vegetable, rolls and a salad for a reasonable price. We did not order off the menu, but I saw a bacon cheeseburger go by that I could have killed for! The atmosphere is......well, there really isn't any atmosphere here. The waitresses were very eager and given patronage and time, this may develop into something more. We'll try again later.

Good
Company
"Good Company" is the name, standard American food is its fame. New in Beloit, Good Company is the place to go for quality, low cost, all around meals. An all-you-can-eat dinner buffet in a clean environment generally fills the place (and you). Breakfast is served all the time and suppers are off the menu. Come hungry, for the portions are large.
