I was born and raised in Beloit Kansas. I attended St. Johns High school graduating in 1979. I attended Kansas Technical Institute and Kansas State University receiving an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I am a self-employed farmer and excavation contractor.

I am a stay-at-home mom and enjoy spending time with our children, sewing, baking/cooking, and being creative with my computer. We are also a homeschooling family. I enjoy the challenge, and the rewards have been tremendous. Helping the kids learn new hobbies and crafts has been great.
