Transportation Operator

The City of Beloit, Transportation Department, is accepting applications for a Full Time Operator. Duties will include, but not be limited to: equipment operation, street construction and maintenance, curb repairs and mowing. CDL required. Application deadline is August 27, 2010. Hiring range is $12.72 to $13.76. Benefits include vacation, KPERS, deferred compensation plan, health insurance, uniforms, paid holidays and sick leave. Deputy Sheriff

Position requires a background investigation, valid Kansas Driver’s License, High School diploma or (GED) minimum education, must be 21 years of age or older and live within Mitchell County. The deputy position requires a rotating schedule to provide coverage 24/7.
