Microsoft Outlook Guide

Microsoft Outlook is used to send and receive email. With Outlook, you can have multiple email accounts at one computer. This guide is for Outlook versions: 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016 and is a guide for those using either a Desktop or a stay-at-home Laptop. This guide does not support Mobile devices and if you travel with your laptop, you can receive email but you will not be able to send any emails with this setup. If you need to send emails from a laptop or mobile device while traveling, please sign up for NCKCN's free SMTP Mobile Service.

To begin with, you will need to check what version of Outlook you have. You can do this by:

• Opening up Outlook

• On the Help menu, click About Microsoft Office Outlook.

• Verify the version information and the build number to determine the version of Outlook that is installed on your computer. To verify, please see Microsoft's support document: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/870929/how-to-determine-outlook-version-information

Now that you have your version of Outlook, it is time to setup your new NCKCN email account. Steps are below:
